Threats:
In Africa, the major threats to leopards are habitat conversion and intense persecution.Only males are allowed to be hunted for trophies but even though it doesn't make a difference for the maternal care of the cubs, male leopards are still needed to protect the territory from new leopards that might kill the cubs.Leopards are generally not a threat for humans, but if a leopard has been starved and meets a human it will most likely attack the person. In India a leopard killed 125 people while another one is suspected to have killed 400.But if the leopard is not teased and left alone it will not attack anyone.
